Medical grade heat shrinkable tubing made of medical grade polyolefin with 2.5:1 shrinkage ratio is widely used in medical devices because of its thin-wall and smooth characteristics required for invasive devices used in surgery and its good electrical insulation properties, which can be used to insulate and protect electrosurgical devices.
